OUR SERVICES TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER §501(c)3
WHAT WE DO: We help federal tax-exempt nonprofit organizations (NPOs) under Internal Revenue Code 501(c)3 obtain grant awards under a contract. We also help individuals and groups of individuals to form nonprofit organizations. Each agreement is submitted to the California Attorney General for review during the required 10-day cool-down period. Our no-risk agreement allows NPOs to enjoy the luxury of making the first contact with the Grantors without our having used their name, corporate logo or make any suggestive promises that the NPOs might not be able to support. In addition, when grant awards are released, these funds transfer directly from the grantor (donor or contributor) to the NPO's bank account where NPO has sole control of funds, prior to any fee payments to us. These services are performed under California Code 12599. In addition, although a grant writer is paid by the nonprofit organization, it is done after we donate a contribution equal to or greater than the grant writer's invoiced fee. Further, all charges and processing fees are returned to the funded nonprofit organization, too.
OUR SERVICE: We reduce the amount of time and effort required to find grantors who are postured to donate funding to worthy causes. Just as there are millions nonprofit organizations, there as many grantors. Seasoned NPO leaders know there is time and expense to prepare and deliver proposals to grantors who are improperly selected. The selection criterion is extensive in the selection of matching mission statements, preferences, restrictions, mission intents, internal rules and policies of grantors and many more obstacles and red tape. To find, then, a grantor willing to help your specific NPO is a service that saves your NPO both time and money, but also allows you to serve the community on an earlier date and closer to the dream you initially envisioned. We also help individuals, couples and groups become nonprofit and tax-exempt using our low budget procedure of only $65.00 and help you with the paperwork as we would when the new entity has funding, $772.00 for all of the filing and processing fees. Whether your organization pays $65.00 or $772.00 these fees are all refundable when your organization receives its first minimum grant of $5,000 or more.
OUR FEES: Our fees are transparent and as of June 1, 2010 our fee is 3% of each grant awarded under the performance of our agreement. The Internal Revenue Service writes our fee must be a fixed dollar amount. California Attorney General states our fee cannot exceed 50% of the grant award. Therefore, if we did set a fee of $10,000 and the grant awarded was $18,000, then we would be in violation of State Law, and place your organization's tax-exemption status in jeopardy and we would lose all of our fee, too. Therefore, while serving California based tax-exempt organizations, we will charge a small percentage as prescribed and in compliance with California Legislature.
Our fee is reasonable considering California State allows us to charge up to 50% of any grant awarded to a nonprofit tax-exempt organization under a required written agreement. Most other states have no fee limit a professional or commercial fund raiser may charge. As of 2009, the national average of fees paid to commercial raisers was 52% of grant awards. Total contributions to NPOs exceeded $300 BILLION in 2007, $316 BILLION in 2008, meaning more than $156 BILLION EACH YEAR went into the pockets of commercial fundraisers which are for profit corporations. As you now know, our fee, 3%, is significantly lower than the national average which keeps the majority of grant awards in the control of nonprofit organizations serving the public under our agreement.
GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
More than 50% of our service fees collected are invested in nonprofit activities such as paying the filing fees of new and emerging NPOs and grants to very small NPOs. This brings our fee down to 1.5%. Another 1% is used for administrative costs and overhead, leaving .5% to finance our goals to purchase property and build a school campuses in our community to enrich adults and their school age children. This school initially prepares instructors to teach Powerful Memory Training Systems, which was taught at Los Angeles City College in the Community Services Department for 13 consecutive years under four class courses from 1992 - 2005. Once these instructors, adults from our community, are proficient, they will be given a classroom and budget to advertise and teach our community's youth to complete middle school through 4-years of college at top performance levels and aggressively challenge the the business community with their emerging ideas of capitalism in all industries with a percentage of their profits given back to the community from which they have come. These PMTS courses will be FREE to public youth, in addition to hot and cold meals, drinks, fruits, fresh fruit and vegetable juices upon arrival and lounges to interact with tutors to complete homework assignments, support and modify anger management responses.
The building and operation of a new school increases long term employment for participating adults who become instructors, teacher's aid, anger management consultants, janitors, security guards and vendors for supplies and special services to parents and students with special needs.
OUR SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FOR-PROFIT BUSINESSES
Grant Promoter helps individuals become for-profit business entities and existing for-profit business entities generate additional income by becoming a referral source of nonprofit organizations (NPOs) who allow us to obtain grant awards on their behalf. The for-profit business entities receive a referral fee when the referred NPOs are actually funded and pay our Grant Promoter Service Fees. The for-profit business entities become Contract Approved Vendor (CAV). CAVs do not sell or market any service. CAV's share information about our service with NPOs by giving them four (4) pages of information which includes their referral name. As the name implies, CAVs are written into the master agreement between the Nonprofit Organization and Grant Promoter. The nonprofit organization upon execution of the agreement is obligated to pay CAV fees, which are made available through our contributions to the nonprofit immediately after our fundraising fee is paid. This procedure eliminates establishment of an employee/employer relationship and business/independent contractor relationship plus reduces all the paperwork of tax reporting for the Grant Promoter. CAVs earn $17,500.00 to $35,000.00 per referral . CAVs are assured payment because failure of a nonprofit tax-exempt organization to pay a CAV is a serious matter. A federal tax-exempt organization bilking the public may result in one or more of the following:
1) jeopardizes the nonprofit organization's tax-exempt status;
2) may incur Internal Revenue Service penalties;
3) may be charged Interest Payments,
4) jail time or prison time,
5) the board member(s) may not be employed or operate a nonprofit organization in the United States for the rest of their lifetime,
6) One of the above, a combination or all of the above.
However, in any event, you will be paid, because you have done nothing wrong and have earned your proven referral fee because the documented grant award was deposited and the grantor must report their contribution to the Internal Revenue Service.
This program increases the income for individuals who are unemployed, underpaid if employed, and increases community retail sales while lifting living standards, which reduces violence and theft while increasing hope, employment and joy.
